Ride Mt Fuji with GS ASTUTO!
Mt. Fuji represents Japan's national heritage and is probably the most iconic landmark in Japan. The surrounding '5 Lakes' region has some of the best cycling roads and views in the world. Mt. Fuji itself, has several challenging routes to the 5th Station points which are the highest points accessible by road traffic. We offer several ways to enjoy cycling in and around Mt. Fuji whether you're a casual recreational cyclist or seasoned pro!
Fuji 5 Lakes Cycling
Option 1: 'Rent and Ride'. Pick up your bike at our location in the Fuji foothills and begin your ride at your convenience!
Includes: Performance Carbon roadbike or adventure bike. Train 'rinko' bag for easy transport on the Fuji local trains. List of our favorite routes and optional Helmet, touring bags or other accessories.
How: Simply book one of our bikes and let us know you want to Ride Fuji. We generally prepare the bike a little differently with higher gears to suit the steeper climbs and other small things to make your trip more enjoyable. We meet you at the local station and hand off the bike ready to ride. When you've finished, you may drop the bike back at our local station and then continue on to your home destination.

Option 2: 'Ride and Guide' . We provide an experienced cyclist guide to assist during your trip. This takes all the hassle out of navigating tricky roads and sometimes tricky train or transfers. Plus we provide convenient van transfer to your preferred starting point. This is the best option for those wishing to maximize their Fuji cycling experience with the least amount of risk and hassle. Our guides know the best loops and the best eats along the way. Plus you'll have a pacing companion to challenge the climbs and descents. Our model is similar to professional 'domestique' who's job is to make the rider's trip as efficient, fast and trouble-free as possible.

Typically this is Cross Coffee in Inagi, which is a convenient "cyclists cafe" located in the Fuji foothills less than 1hr from central Tokyo.

Option 3: Fuji 'Multi-day'. We assist in planning a several day cycling adventure in the Mt. Fuji greater area. There are 1000's of km of amazing cycling in the shadows and slopes of Mt. Fuji and sometimes you just want more than a day or two to explore and experience. We can help you with that!

"Challenge 2020" Events coming soon!
We are working hard to organize a series of very special guided rides that follow the course of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Road Race. This is being considered one of the most challenging and difficult courses in the history of Olympic Cycling. Our special rides will include full SAG support and special experienced domestiques who can help pace the way. All the rental bikes for this event will be professional level and also especially prepared. You are welcome to use your own bike, however we will require careful scrutinizing to ensure safety for the participants.
